We use ordinary, non-iodized salt to treat our new swimming pool. The salt goes through a titanium cell and splits into its naturally occuring components of sodium and chloride (NaCl). It is this chloride that cleans the pool. What that means for you is no green hair and soft water that's gentle on the eyes and skin. And you won't even notice the salt. Our pool has about the same salt content as a teardrop (not like the ocean).
We have created the best pool experience ever with a new Salt System pool and a team of world-class aquatics professionals!
Swimming
is one of the few ways of getting exercise that improves overall
fitness by boosting strength, stamina and toning muscles all at the
same time. You can look at it as having all the cardiovascular benefits
of running, but with some of the strength-building effects of weight
training and some of the suppleness-promoting effects of dance class.
Swimming uses all the major muscles groups, and is a wonderful aerobic
exercise that helps to keep your heart and lungs healthy. Swimming also
helps to keep your joints flexible, especially in the neck, shoulders
and hips. You can increase your level of physical activity by swimming
and therefore increase the amount of energy you burn up - a vital
component of a weight management program.
Swimming is also the perfect way to rehabilitate an injury. The weightless effects of the water help you to exercise without putting undue stress on your joints. Willy's has relationships with local medical professionals treating injuries in our pools!
Willy's offers individual or group swim lessons for adults and children, a USA swim team, a water babies mommy and me class, aqua fitness classes, lap swim, free swim, quiet swim, masters team and more.
